FIFA cleared the registration of Ronie Carrillo, Eduardo Bores and Jefferson Valverde. The Bombillo can breathe in the market. On the pitch, not yet.
A group of fans arrived on Friday 7 at Los Samanes. No incidents. One clear message: the performances are not good enough, and the squad has to answer before the table gets steeper.
Emelec drew 0-0 with Guayaquil City and sit on 29 points, in the lower-middle pack. On Sunday they host Técnico Universitario at Capwell. That is where we will see if the Samanes conversation meant anything.
The blue stands are not asking for a knockout miracle. They are asking for identity — and a team that does not hide at home.
